Acts 1:7-8
7 And He
said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has
put in His own authority. 8 But you shall receive power when
the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in
Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and
to the end of the earth.”
I.
THINKING OF THE ENDS OF THE EARTH
REQUIRES THREE THINGS
1.
Selflessness
2 Cor. 5:15
15 and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for
themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again
2.
Love
2 Cor. 5:14—15
14 For the love of Christ compels us, because we judge thus: that if
One died for all, then all died; 15 and He died for all, that
those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for
them and rose again.

John 13:1-5
Now before the Feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that His
hour had come that He should depart from this world to the Father, having loved
His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end. 2 And
supper being ended, the devil having already put it into the heart of Judas
Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray Him, 3 Jesus, knowing that the
Father
had given all things into His hands, and that He had come from God
and was going to God, 4 rose from supper and laid aside His
garments, took a towel and girded Himself. 5 After that, He
poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples’ feet, and to wipe
them with the towel with which He was girded.

ETERNITY IS WHY
WE MUST GO
1.
Two Realms of Existence
a. Temporal
b. Eternal
2.
Two States to Each
Realm
a. Good Temporal
Existence
b. Bad Temporal Existence
c. Good Eternal Existence
d. Bad Eternal Existence
Luke 16:19-31
19 There was a certain rich man,
which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: 20 And
there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of
sores, 21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell
from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. 22 And
it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into
Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And
in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and
Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham,
have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in
water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But
Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good
things, and likewise Lazarus evil
things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 26 And
beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they
which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that
would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore,
father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: 28 For
I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into
this place of torment. 29 Abraham saith unto him, They have
Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said,
Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the
prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

THREE
UNESCAPABLE EVENTS IN ETERNITY WE MUST CONSIDER
1.
Judgment of __________________________
Eph. 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved
through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not
of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5-7
5 Not by works of righteousness
which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of
regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed
on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our
Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we
should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
2.
Judgment unto _____________________
Rev. 20:11-15
11 And I saw a great white
throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled
away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the
dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another
book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of
those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13 And
the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the
dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their
works. 14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death. 15 And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
3.
Judgment unto Works
(Judgment Seat of Christ)
Rev. 14:10-12
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at
nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For
it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every
tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall
give account of himself to God.
2 Cor. 5:10-11
10 For we must all appear before
the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his
body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 11 Knowing
therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men…”
1 Cor. 3:13-15
13 Every man’s work shall be
made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by
fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. 14 If
any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. 15 If
any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be
saved; yet so as by fire.
IV. THAT’S WHY WE
MUST GO
1. Missions Cost
Physically And Emotionally
2. Missions Cost
Spiritually
3. Missions Cost
Financially
4. But Missions Is Of God
