THE ISRAEL CONFLICT
I. HISTORY IS ABOUT THE “GOD-MAN”
Revelation 13:8
8 All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in
the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, and between your seed and her
Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.
1. To bring God-Man: a seed, a people and a geographic location was chosen.
Deuteronomy 7:6-8
6 “For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen
you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples on the
face of the earth.
7 The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in
number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples;
8 but because the LORD loves you, and because He would keep the oath which He
swore to your fathers, the LORD has brought you out with a mighty hand, and
redeemed you from the house of bondage, from the hand of Pharaoh king of
Egypt.
Genesis 12:1-3
1 Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and
from your father’s house to a land that I will show you.
2 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And
you shall be a blessing.
3 I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you
all the families of the earth shall be blessed”
Matthew 1:1-17
1 The book of the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the Son of David, the Son of
Abraham:
2 Abraham begot Isaac, Isaac begot Jacob, and Jacob begot Judah and his
brothers. 3 Judah begot Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez begot Hezron, and
Hezron begot Ram.
4 Ram begot Amminadab, Amminadab begot Nahshon, and Nahshon begot
Salmon.
5 Salmon begot Boaz by Rahab, Boaz begot Obed by Ruth, Obed begot Jesse,
6 and Jesse begot David the king. David the king begot Solomon by her who had
been the wife of Uriah.
7 Solomon begot Rehoboam, Rehoboam begot Abijah, and Abijah begot Asa.
8 Asa begot Jehoshaphat, Jehoshaphat begot Joram, and Joram begot Uzziah.
9 Uzziah begot Jotham, Jotham begot Ahaz, and Ahaz begot Hezekiah.
10 Hezekiah begot Manasseh, Manasseh begot Amon, and Amon begot Josiah.
11 Josiah begot Jeconiah and his brothers about the time they were carried away
to Babylon.
12 And after they were brought to Babylon, Jeconiah begot Shealtiel, and Shealtiel
begot Zerubbabel.
13 Zerubbabel begot Abiud, Abiud begot Eliakim, and Eliakim begot Azor.
14 Azor begot Zadok, Zadok begot Achim, and Achim begot Eliud.
15 Eliud begot Eleazar, Eleazar begot Matthan, and Matthan begot Jacob.
16 And Jacob begot Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus who is
called Christ.
17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations, from
David until the captivity in Babylon are fourteen generations, and from the
captivity in Babylon until the Christ are fourteen generations.
2. The seed has always been attacked and always will be.
Genesis 3:15
15 And I will put enmity Between you and the woman, and between your seed and
her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.
Revelation 12:13-17
13 Now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted
the woman who gave birth to the male Child.
14 But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the
wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a
time, from the presence of the serpent.
15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman,
that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood.
16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and
swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.
17 And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and he went to make war with
the rest of her offspring, who keep the commandments of God and have the
testimony of Jesus Christ.
Historically, Israel has been persecuted as long as it has been a nation.

Philistines, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, or Romans
3. The seed is not perfect and doesn’t always do everything right, but they are the
chosen seed.
II. THE FUTURE IS ABOUT THE “GOD-MAN”
1. Salvation and personal acceptance
John 3:36
36 He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe
the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
Acts 4:11-12
11 This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, ‘which has become the
chief cornerstone. ’
12 Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven
given among men by which we must be saved.
John 14:6
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the
Father except through Me.
2. Eternal Lordship
Luke 1:30-33
30 Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor
with God.
31 And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall
call His name JESUS.
32 He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will
give Him the throne of His father David.
33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will
be no end.
Revelation 5:1-10
And I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a scroll written inside
and on the back, sealed with seven seals. 2 Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming
with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?” 3 And
no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll,
or to look at it. 4 So I wept much, because no one was found worthy to open and
read the scroll, or to look at it. 5 But one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep.
Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open
the scroll and to loose its seven seals.” 6 And I looked, and behold, in the midst
of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders,
stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes,
which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came
and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.
8 Now when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four
elders fell down before the Lamb, each having a harp, and golden bowls full of
incense, which are the prayers of the saints. 9 And they sang a new song, saying:
“You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; For You were slain, and
have redeemed us to God by Your blood Out of every tribe and tongue and
people and nation, 10 And have made us kings and priests to our God; And we
shall reign on the earth.”
3. Invitation to Bridal Partnership
Matthew 25:1-12
1 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their
lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom.
2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish.
3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them,
4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.
5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.
6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to
meet him!’
7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps.
8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are
going out.’
9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and
you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’
10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready
went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.
11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’
12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’
III. ISRAEL’S COMING CONFLICT
Psalm 2:1-12
1 Why do the nations rage, And the people plot a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the LORD and against His Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces and cast away Their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh; The LORD shall hold them in derision.
5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath, and distress them in His deep
displeasure:
6 “Yet I have set My King on My holy hill of Zion.”
7 “I will declare the decree: The LORD has said to Me, You are My Son, Today I
have begotten You.
8 Ask of Me, and I will give You The nations for Your inheritance, And the ends of
the earth for Your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; You shall dash them to pieces like a
potter’s vessel.’”
10 Now therefore, be wise, O kings; Be instructed, you judges of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and you perish in the way, When His wrath is
kindled but a little. Blessed are all those who put their trust in Him
Joel 3:20
20 But Judah shall abide forever, And Jerusalem from generation to generation.
