Confide:Living with confidence in God
“Rather than believing in confidence without faith……. We say we have faith but live without
confidence”
Definition of confidence:
The feeling or belief that one can rely on someone or something.
The state of feeling certain about the truth of something.
But the word says his about trusting in the lord
Jeremiah 17:5-8
5 Thus says the LORD: "Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his
strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.
6 He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the
parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.
7 "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
8 He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear
when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it
does not cease to bear fruit."
God says through Jeremiah
Don't trust in man….. Trust in God!!!!
In other words act like you know who he is!!!!!!
Did you forget all he’s done for you!!!!!?!?!?!?
Psalm 103:1-5
1Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.
But even if you don’t have a history with God!!! If you’re a brand new believer……..
The word gives us Biblical examples of God coming through

Abraham
Moses

in glory in Christ Jesus."

without reproach, and it will be given him."
1 John 5:14-15 (ESV): "And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask
anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask,
we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him."
James 4:7-8 (ESV): "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee
from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners,
