FAHOW VISION 2015-2016 PART II

Matthew 16:18

¹⁸ And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church (ekklessia); and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I.            FAHOW CORE VALUES.

1.   We value Passion for God and Compassion for people as the motives upon which we operate.  Matthew 22:37-39.

2.   We value Personal Freedom (Deliverance). Luke 4:17-19

3.   We value prayer. (Isaiah 56:7; Matthew 21:13)

4.   We value purity and holiness. Psalm 29:2

5.   We value Humility and Servant Leadership as the model by which we serve God’s people.  1 Peter 5:5

6.   We value the Word of God and sound practical teaching of the scriptures. Psalm 119:105.

7.   We value training our children and youth to be radical Disciples of Christ. Deuteronomy 6:6-7.

8.   We value order and excellence as the wineskin through which God will release His Spirit. Daniel 6:3

II.          FAHOW VISION.

1.   Exalt the Lord (House of Worship) It’s All About Him.

2.   Extend the Kingdom (House of Missions) Touch the World.

3.   Empower the People (House of Mercy) Transform Individuals and Community.

III.       FOR HIS GLORY.

For His Glory is a Campaign as well as a motivation for all we do.

1.   Do all For His Glory.

Isaiah 42:8

              I am the Lord: that is my name: And my glory will I not give to another, Neither my praise to graven images.

              2. Recognition of God’s Jealousy.                            

                   Exodus 20:1-3

              And God spake all these words, saying, ² I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. ³ Thou shalt have no other gods before me. ⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: ⁵ Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God.

IV.       FOR HIS GLORY CURRENT FOCUS.

1. Continue on path towards long term goals.

2. Reaffirm the Essentials.

Three Mandates of the Church

The Great Commandment

Matthew 22:37-40

³⁷ Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ ³⁸ This is the first and great commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ⁴⁰ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”

The Great Commission

Matthew 28:18-20

¹⁸ And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. ¹⁹ Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

Mark 16:15-18

¹⁵ And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶ He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. ¹⁷ And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; ¹⁸ they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

·        Preach the Gospel.

·        Get people Saved.

·        Make them Disciples by teaching everything Jesus said do.

·        Jesus is the MAN and MAIN MESSAGE.

The Great Identity

Matthew 5:13-16

¹³ “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. ¹⁴ “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. ¹⁵ Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. ¹⁶ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

·        The salt and light is good works.

·        These works result in people glorying God.

V.          OUR 12 MONTH FOCUS.

1. House of Worship.

                                          i.    Intensify teaching and training.         

1.   More targeted and Focused Teaching Points.

2.   Pod cast and other Media strategy methods to release word.

3.   More Print Media.

                                        ii.    Strengthen fellowship and connectivity.

1.   Encourage and foster more membership interaction.

2.   Encourage more small group and support group participation.

3.   Intensify Family Ministry and Impact.

                                       iii.    Remodel Current facility for Maximum usage.

1.   Create Fellowship/Multi Use Area.

2.   Renovate where necessary (youth, children, multi-purpose).

3.   Increase functionality.

                                       iv.    Intensify Prayer and Presence Focus.

                                        v.    Increase and Improve Children and Youth Ministry.

                                       vi.    Intensify outreach to the un churched.

1.   10 to 15% growth through new family members and attendees. (approx. 150 new People)

2. House of Missions.

                                          i.    Intensify our focus locally.

                                        ii.    Increase Fellowship by 30 churches domestically.

                                       iii.    Take the church outdoors more.

1.   5 to 6 outdoor community events.

2.   Possible church on the lawn.

                                       iv.    Target prayers towards unsaved.

                                        v.    Help members perfect 30 sec, 3 minute and 30 minute testimony.

We are Believing for.

o   2000+ souls this year through our church.

o   1700+ through all churches combined.

o   Hundreds healed, delivered and restored.

3. House of Mercy.

                                          i.    Initiate Education initiatives.

1.   Adopt a school.

2.   Tutoring and GED for church and community kids.

3.   Continue Men’s Mentoring Initiative.

                                        ii.    Prison Reform and Ministry.

1.   Partner with Prison Fellowship.

2.   Minister to families and children of prisoners.

                                       iii.    Establish Youth City.

                                       iv.    Initiate Economically sound teaching and practices.

VI.        GET THE PICTURE.

Somewhere Between August and December 2016 we will Lord Willing:

1. Will be more mature and more like Jesus.

2. Have 150 more people worshipping with us.

3. Be responsible for 2000 more names written in the Lambs Book of Life.

4. Be worshipping in a beautiful modified functional facility.

5. Have impacted hundreds with new freedom and a new zeal.

6. Have helped hundreds of families find new strength, unity and purpose.

7. Connected with 15 to 30 new churches.

8. Helped 100’s of children educationally.

9. Helped several families of prisoners find hope.

10. Impacted 100’s in the Community with the Love of Jesus.
