unmarried and to the widows: It is good for them if they remain even as I am.
KJV
8 So I say to those who
aren’t married and to widows—it’s better to stay unmarried, just as I am. NLT

2. You Have a lot to Give Jesus.
1 Corinthians 7:32-35
32 I
want you to be free from the concerns of this life. An
unmarried man can spend his time doing the Lord’s work and thinking how to
please him. 33 But a married man has to think about his earthly
responsibilities and how to please his wife. 34 His
interests are divided. In the same way, a woman who is no longer
married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body
and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly
responsibilities and how to please her husband. 35 I am saying
this for your benefit, not to place restrictions on you. I want you
to do whatever will help you serve the Lord best, with as few distractions as
possible. NLT
Acts 21:8-9
8 And the next day we that were of Paul’s company
departed, and came unto Caesarea: and we entered into the house of Philip the
evangelist, which was one of the
seven; and abode with him. 9 And the same man had four daughters,
virgins, which did prophesy. KJV
3. You Can Control Yourself.
Galatians 5:22
22 But the Holy Spirit
produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness,
goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control.
There is no law against these things!

Acts 24:25
24 A few days later Felix
came back with his wife, Drusilla, who was Jewish. Sending for Paul, they
listened as he told them about faith in Christ Jesus. 25 As he
reasoned with them about righteousness and self-control and the coming
day of judgment, Felix became frightened.
1 Corinthians 9:24-25
24 Do
you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. 25
Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They

5 In
view of all this, make every effort to respond to God’s promises. Supplement
your faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence
with knowledge, 6 and knowledge with self-control,

1 Corinthians 7:9
9 But if
they can’t

marry than to burn with lust. NLT
1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Don’t you realize that
those who do wrong will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t fool yourselves.
Those who indulge in sexual sin, or who worship idols, or commit adultery, or
are male prostitutes, or practice homosexuality, 10 or are
thieves, or greedy people, or drunkards, or are abusive, or cheat people—none
of these will inherit the Kingdom of God. NLT
4.
We
Must Trust God Emphatically.
(He Knows our Gifts and Our Need)
Matthew 19:8-12
8 Jesus replied, “Moses
permitted divorce only as a concession to your hard hearts, but it was not what
God had originally intended. 9 And I tell you this, whoever
divorces his wife and marries someone else commits adultery—unless his wife has
been unfaithful.*” 10 Jesus’ disciples then said to him, “If
this is the case, it is better not to marry!” 11 “Not everyone
can accept this statement,” Jesus said. “Only those whom God helps. 12 Some
are born as eunuchs, some have been made eunuchs by others, and some choose not
to marry* for the sake of the Kingdom of Heaven. Let anyone accept this who
can.”

God got her a husband by hook or crook
Genesis 29:31-35
31 When
the Lord saw that Leah was
unloved, he enabled her to have children, but Rachel could not conceive. 32 So
Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben,* for she
said, “The Lord has noticed my
misery, and now my husband will love me.” 33 She soon became pregnant
again and gave birth to another son. She named him Simeon,* for she said, “The Lord heard that I was unloved and has
given me another son.” 34 Then she became pregnant a third time
and gave birth to another son. He was named Levi,* for she said, “Surely this
time my husband will feel affection for me, since I have given him three sons!”
35 Once again Leah became pregnant and gave birth to another
son. She named him Judah,* for she said, “Now I will praise the Lord!” And then she stopped having
children. NLT

Realize any Blessing you Depend of for Happiness
will bring you the opposite.
1 Kings 11:3
Now King Solomon loved many foreign women.
Besides Pharaoh’s daughter, he married women from Moab, Ammon, Edom, Sidon, and
from among the Hittites. 2 The Lord
had clearly instructed the people of Israel, ‘You must not marry them, because
they will turn your hearts to their gods.’ Yet Solomon insisted on loving them
anyway. 3 He had 700 wives of royal birth and 300 concubines.
And in fact, they did turn his heart away from the Lord.NLT
