Romans 8:26 says “So too the Holy Spirit comes to our aid and bears us
up in our weakness; for we do not know what prayer to offer nor how to offer it
worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and
pleads in our behalf with unspeakable yearnings and groanings too deep for
utterance.” We must decide to allow the Holy Spirit to advise us and give
direction as it relates to our finances. We must make a conscious decision to
start making good financial decisions while relying on the Holy Spirit to help
us along the way. We must believe that He will give us favor, witty ideas and
concepts, supernatural debt cancellation, and much more. This is not an
overnight process; however, as we develop spiritually and mature in wise
decision making, we will be able to get out of financial bondage and stay out.
Wisdom is one of the most important characteristics of the Holy Spirit
mentioned in Isaiah 11:2 which says, “And the spirit of the Lord shall rest
upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and
might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord”. In other words,
wisdom is part to the burden-removing, yoke-destroying power of God - the same
power that operated through Jesus is in us today. It gives direction and
provides guidance, and by operating in this empowerment, we can experience
deliverance from financial bondage. We no longer have to work out our
deliverance from debt in our own strength or with the limited knowledge of the
world. Instead, by grace through faith, God can and will help us unravel our
financial challenges. However, it will take effort on our part, which consists
of placing our complete trust in Him while carrying out His instructions. We
must operate by faith and not by what we see.
We must realize that wisdom is not some
unattainable force floating around in the atmosphere. It is an anointing- a
part of the Holy Spirit- that lives inside every born again Believer.

We can conclude that tithing shows our love,
respect and admiration for God. It is clearly an expression of our honor and
acknowledgement of God’s supreme lordship and mastery in our lives. God’s promises await those who are obedient.
He challenges us to give Him the privilege to prove Himself. He promised that
we would be blessed in return (Proverbs 3:9-10; Luke 6:38). He will protect our
finances just as He protected the obedient people in the Old Testament from the
insects that would devour their crops. Most important, our witness is
recognized by others and can be used to attract others to Him through His
blessings to us, and by remembering that God’s tithe is holy (Lev. 27:30); that
God loves a cheerful giver (2 Cor. 9:7). Tithing is a form of worship of God.
God promises to bless you if you tithe (Malachi 3:8-11). Therefore, let us give
God the first portion of our income to show that He has first place in our life
and that you know He is the Source of all we have. When we are obedient to Him,
we can conquer greed and properly manage God’s resources.
Since you have opened your heart to receive the word
of the Lord, it is our prayer that this course continue to strengthen and keep
you as God takes your finances to the next level in tithes and offerings!
"Thank
You, Father, for giving me prosperity in every area of my life. I commit to
listening to Your voice and digging into Your Word. No matter what it looks
like right now, I believe I have more than enough! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
"Father,
I thank You that I am an heir to THE BLESSING! I choose life today. I choose to
be a conduit for what You want to do in this world. Thank You for Your Word and
the many blessings that are mine. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
"Father,
according to Your Word, I stand in unshakable faith, based on Your Word, ready
to receive from You. I am a tither and a giver. Thank You for providing
exceeding abundantly above all that I could ask or think. Thank You that You
meet all my needs according to Your riches in glory by Christ Jesus and for
multiplying my seed sown so that I may give into every good work. In Jesus’
Name. Amen!
"Father,
Your Word says that He who ministers seed to the sower both ministers bread for
my food and multiplies my seed sown and increases the fruits of my
righteousness. Therefore, I am enriched in everything to all bountifulness,
which causes through us thanksgiving to God. I thank You for it, Lord. I stand
on Mark 4:23 which says, ‘If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.’ So I
make the decision right now to receive. I will receive. I will do all the
things necessary. I will plant. In Jesus name, Amen!"

The
idea of trusting Jesus with your finances may be a new one. If so, the Word is
the first stop in finding out what it really means to trust Jesus and surrender
your financial decisions to Him and His ways. Here are five scriptures to get
you started:
You Can Trust Jesus with All Areas of Your Life—Including Finances
You Can Trust Jesus with All Areas of Your Life—Including Finances
- Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch
cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be
fruitful unless you remain in me. Yes, I am the vine; you are the
branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit.
For apart from me you can do nothing. –John 15:4-5
God Will Take Care of You and Your
Finances
- So don’t worry about these
things, saying, ‘What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we
wear?’ These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly
Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of
God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you
everything you need. –Matthew 6:31-33
- Teach those who are rich in this world not to be proud
and not to trust in their money, which is so unreliable. Their trust
should be in God, who richly gives us all we need for our enjoyment. –1
Timothy 6:17
When You Trust and Obey Him with
Your Finances
- If you fully obey the Lord your
God and carefully keep all his commands that I am giving you today, the
Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the world. You
will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God: Your
towns and your fields will be blessed. Your children and your crops will
be blessed. The offspring of your herds and flocks will be blessed. Your
fruit baskets and breadboards will be blessed. Wherever you go and
whatever you do, you will be blessed. –Deuteronomy 28:1-6 (Read the
entire chapter.)
- And now that you belong to
Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and
God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you. –Galatians 3:29
A Promise to Stand on for Your
Prosperity
- That is what the Scriptures
mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has
imagined what God has prepared for those who love him. But it was to us
that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out
everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.” –1 Corinthians
2:9-10
Jesus
wants to be as involved with your financial life as He is with your spiritual.
Let these scriptures be a starting point for deeper study into God’s Word. As
you discover God’s heart and love for you, may you trust Him with every area of
life—even your finances.
