Arise & Shine: Forces of the Gentiles- BISHOP KYLE SEARCY

I.         THIS NEW SEASON DEMANDS A NEW MINDSET
1.        We must arise.
2.        We must shine.
3.        We must lift up our eyes round about us and see.

II.       WE MUST BE EQUIPPED WITH NECESSARY RESOURCES FOR THIS SEASON
1.       There is a definite conversion - haphak ; a prim. root; to turn, overturn:
2.       There is definite coming - bo ; a prim. root; to come in,

III.     PROMISES FOR THE COMING CONVERSION

PROVERBS 13:22 - 22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up (Hidden) for the just.
PROVERBS 28:8 8 He that by usury and unjust gain increaseth his substance, he shall gather it for him that will pity the poor -  (dal – Poor weak, downtrodden, dying) Harvest of the World
ECCLESIASTES 2:26  26 For God giveth to a man that is good in his sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner he giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that he may give to him that is good before God.
ECCLESIASTES 6:2  2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honour, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat thereof, but a stranger eateth it:
JOB 27:13-17  13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty. 14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread. 15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep. 16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay; 17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

IV.     EXAMPLES OF PAST CONVERSION SEASONS

1.         Moses from Egypt      EXODUS 3:21-22
2.        Abraham                                       GENESIS 12:14-16; 20; 13:1
14 And it came to pass, that, when Abram was come into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair. 15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house. 16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels. 20 And Pharaoh commanded his men concerning him: and they sent him away, and his wife, and all that he had.

1 And Abram went up out of Egypt, he, and his wife, and all that he had, and Lot with him, into the south. 2 And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.

3.        Isaac                                               GENESIS 26:1,12
1 And there was a famine in the land, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 13 And the man waxed great, and wentb forward, and grew until he became very great: 14 For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds, and great store of servantsc: and the Philistines envied him.

4.       Jacob

5.        Jesus had wealth conversion

LUKE 18:1-3 1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him, 2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils, 3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod’s steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

V.       HOW WILL CONVERSION TAKE PLACE?

1.        Right Heart
·         We have been and are still being tested with finances
·         Our heart and Purposes must align with God’s

2.       Right Strategy (Wisdom and Diligence)
·         We always have a part to play in everything God does
·         Deut 8 – See all that’s required of Israel in Promised Land

3.       Right Timing
·         Season is now but we must plow and sow patiently
