What’s going on?
Discerning the Seasons and the Times:


1Chronicles: 12:32  And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had the understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, the heads of them was two hundred and all their brethren were at their commandment.
I.                  Understanding the seasons and the times:  The appointed movements of God.
a.     Esther Chapter 1:  King Ahasuerus
b.    Vash-ti the Queen refused to come when called:
c.     Vs 13 -Then the King said to the wise men, which knew the times, for so was the King’s manner toward all that knew law and judgment:
d.    Memucan answered wisely and the King made a decree that every man both small and great should be honored and should rule his house.

e.     Issachar- Son of Jacob and Leah:- name means one who brings a Reward.  Or man for hire.

f.        -Know means-to know or ascertain by seeing. Hebrew word for “know” is (yada) which means God gave them personal revelation and understanding. The Issachar anointing will sustain revival.  It is the seer/prophetic anointing.
II.               Understanding of the times: 
a.       They were able -to separate mentally: to distinguish-deal wisely-Prudent-to discern what God is doing and run with Him.  They were chief advisors to the King and gave guidance and direction to Israel.
a.    Spiritual Discernment:  To discern means to separate thoroughly.  To make a distinction between things.  Knowing right from wrong-truth from error.  It is the process of making distinctions in our thinking about Truth.

III.            What time is it?  It is time to seek the Lord: 
Hebrews: 11:6
But without faith, it is impossible to please him, for he that cometh to God, must believe that he is and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Isaiah 55:6  Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near.  We seek God on a personal level and we seek God corporately.
a.    Seek—A setting of the heart and mind of God.   It is going through or around some-Thing to meet Him.  A conscious choice to direct the heart toward God. Seeking involves calling and pleading.  Seeking the Lord means seeking His presence.  Presence is a common translation of the word “face”. Literally, we are to seek his face.  Having access to God.  Desiring Him Finding pleasure in Him.  Drawing near to Him.   If we seek Him we will find him.
Psalms 53:2   God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
Colossians 3:1-2  If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

IV. What’s on the Heart of God?
a.   Make God a priority
b. Ask the Holy Spirit to help
c.  Have faith in God
