INTRO:

There are at least 100 trillion angels.
Revelation 5:2, 11-12
2Then I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, “Who is worthy to open the scroll and to loose its seals?... 11 Then I looked, and I heard the voice of many angels around the throne, the living creatures, and the elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands, 12 saying with a loud voice: “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing!”
I.               SPIRIT BEINGS LISTED IN SCRIPTURE
A.  Angelic beings known as Seraphim
Isaiah 6:1-3, 6-7
1In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. 2Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. 3And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of His glory!”…Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.”

 C.  Angelic beings referred to as Beasts (Living Creatures)

The first living creature was like a lion, the second living creature like a  calf, the third living creature had a face like a man, and the fourth living creature  was like a flying eagle. The four living creatures, each having six wings, were full of eyes around and within. Then out of the smoke  locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of  the earth have power.

17And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
