Word of the Lord 2020

     Word of the Lord 2020

1. Decade of Access

Ester 4:10-17; 5:1
10Then Esther spoke to Hathach, and gave him a command for Mordecai: 11"All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that any man or woman who goes into the inner court to the king, who has not been called, he has but one law: put all to death, except the one to whom the king holds out the golden scepter, that he may live. Yet I myself have not been called to go in to the king these thirty days." 12So they told Mordecai Esther's words. 13And Mordecai told them to answer Esther: "Do not think in your heart that you will escape in the king's palace any more than all the other Jews. 14For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father's house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? 15Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai: 16"Go, gather all the Jews who are present in Shushan, and fast for me; neither eat nor drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will fast likewise. And so I will go to the king, which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish! 17So Mordecai went his way and did according to all that Esther commanded him.

1Now it happened on the third day that Esther put on her royal robes and stood in the inner court of the king's palace, across from the king's house, while the king sat on his royal throne in the royal house, facing the entrance of the house. 2So it was, when the king saw Queen Esther standing in the court that she found favor in his sight, and the king held out to Esther the golden scepter that was in his hand. Then Esther went near and touched the top of the scepter. 3And the king said to her, "What do you wish, Queen Esther? What is your request? It shall be given to you - up to half the kingdom!

a. The Throne

Hebrews 4:16
16Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time need.

Ephesians 3:12
12...in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through faith in Him.

b. Kingdom Promises

Numbers 13:30
30Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, "Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.

c. Him (Relationship)

John 13: 21-26
21When Jesus had said these things, He was troubled in spirit, and testified and said, "Most assuredly, I say to you, one of you will betray Me." 22Then the disciples looked at one another, perplexed about whom He spoke. 23Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of His disciples, whom Jesus loved. 24Simon Peter therefore motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke. 25Then, leaning back on Jesus' breast, he said to Him, "Lord, who is it?" 26Jesus answered, "It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it." And having dipped the bread, He gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

d. Favor

Favor with God and Man

  • Favor makes life easier with fewer hindrances
  • Favor will make you stand out within a crowd
  • "One day of Favor is worth more than a lifetime fo labor"
  • Favor is to be chosen rather than money
Proverbs 22:1
1A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favor rather than silver and gold.

2. Decade to Embrace Kingship

1 Corinthians 4:8
8You are already full! You are already rich! You have reigned as kings without us - and indeed I could wish you did reign, that also might reign with you!

Revelation 1:5-6
5and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler over the kings of the earth.  Tho Hom who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

The Kingdom concept requires us to begin to think of Jesus as King of Kings but also ourselves as kings under his reign.  This is why the message of the kingdom begins with the word repent.  Repent is (metanoia) in Greek. It means to change your thinking.  In 2020 we must think like kings working with and for the Great Kings.  King Jesus.

a.  Kings don't beg; they decree.
b.  Kings defend their territory and subjects
c.  Kings go to war and take territory

3. Decade of Increased Angelic Activity

John Kilpatrick's (The leader of the Brownsville Revival) phone called me Thursday night.  He put it down and it dialed me.  We haven't talked in a year or more.  He began to share with me an encounter had the night before.  He laid down on his right side wasn't comfortable so he turned over on his left and instantly he was in another dimension.  He couldn't describe it but He was in a totally different realm.  The Lord began to communicate with him without words.  Darkness will get darker and it will happen pretty quickly but don't worry, help is on the way.  Be prepared.  Don't worship them just receive their ministry.

I know this to the Word of the Lord.  I heard the same thing and even preached a series on Angels recently.

Acts 5:17-19
17Then the high priest rose up, and all those who were with him (which is the sect of the Sadducees), and they were filled with indignation, 18and laid their hands on the apostles and put in the common prison.  19But at night an angel of the Lord opened the prison doors and brought them out, and said,

Acts 12:5-7
5Peter was therefore kept in prison, but constant prayer was offered to God for him by the church.  6Aand when Herod was about to bring him out, that night Peter was sleeping, bound with two chains between two soldiers; and the guards before the door were keeping the prison.  7Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying "Arise quickly!" And his chains fell off his hands.

4.  Decade to Walk in Rest

Don't get irritated and agitated about things. Walk in peace and rest.

John 14:1
1"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me."

Matthew 11:28-30
28"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  30For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Exodus 23: 20-22
20Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I have prepared. 21Beware of Him and obey His voice; do not provoke Him, for He will not pardon your transgressions; for My name is in Him.  22But if you indeed obey His voice and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

Ephesians 4:1-3
1I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

5.  Decade to War by Holding Faith

1Timothy 1:18-19
18This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare, 19Holding faith, and good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck. KJV

Ephesians 6:16
16Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

6. Decade of Significant Prosperity and Increase for the Harvest

Deuteronomy 8:18
18And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day

Haggai 2:6-9
6"For thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Once more (it is a little while) I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land; 7and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations, and I will fill this temple with glory,' says the Lord of hosts. 8'The silver is Mine, and the gold is Mine,' says the Lord of hosts. 9'The glory of the latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the Lord of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the Lord of hosts."

Isaiah 60:1-3;5-6
1Arise, shine; For your light has come: And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you. 3The Gentiles shall come to your light, And kings to the brightness of your rising...

5Then you shall see and become radiant, And your heart shall swell with joy; Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you, The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.  6The multitude of camels shall cover your land, The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord.

7.  New Dimensions Suddenly Released

What happened to John as a prophetic picture? He was in one dimension then turned over and was instantly in a new dimension.

8.  Decade for Humility

God needs men and women in this hour he can trust with great wealth and power that will not be lifted up in pride.  Humility is a key virtue to cultivate in this decade.

James 4:6
6But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: "Gods resists the proud, but give grace to the humble."
